If you love coins that are both beautiful and fun to collect, you should take a look at the Chinese Silver Panda. Just like their gold cousins, these coins are famous for their changing annual designs. It’s a wonderful way to own pure silver while also building a collection that is full of charm and personality.
About Chinese Silver Pandas
The China Mint has been producing these lovely .999 fine silver coins since 1983. The reverse design always features the beloved giant panda, but the image changes each year, often showing the animal in its natural habitat. The obverse consistently displays the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests from the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. This mix of a constant national symbol and a changing, adorable panda design gives these coins their unique appeal. Their limited annual mintage also makes earlier years especially interesting to collectors.
