In 1918, the acclaimed Banco De Mexico released the 2.50 Peso Mexican Gold Coin. The design of this beautiful coin shows people a glimpse of Mexico’s rich history. In addition, these coins are among the first to dignify the Mexican national hero, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.
