Description

The American Gold Eagle coin is the largest and most well-known Gold coin in the world, often effortlessly outmatching competitors in the worldwide marketplace. This coin is the top-tier gold for sale by the United States Mint each year. This gold-proof coin also makes a great gift for graduations, weddings, Mother’s or Father’s Day, birthdays, and other special occasions worth commemorating.

American Gold Eagle coins were launched in 1986 in four distinct weights. The bullion versions of the coin are struck yearly with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz weights available to Gold collectors and investors. The 1 oz and 1/10 oz coins are, consequentially, the most in-demand among gold buyers.

Today, the 1 oz American Gold Eagle coin is available online from hollywoodgoldexchange.com.

Product Highlights:

  • Each coin contains 1 oz of actual Gold weight.
  • Obverse features an effigy of Lady Liberty (designed by Augustus Saint – Gaudens) with the date to the right.
  • Reverse shows the original Type 1 Reverse (utilized from 1986 to 2021) – a male American eagle in flight carrying an olive branch to his nest, where a female awaits with their young.

1899 $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle AU

$3,006.58
The Liberty Gold Double Eagle Coin Minted through 1907, the Liberty Double Eagle coin contains .9675 oz fine Gold, alloyed with Copper to improve its durability and wear characteristics. The design, introduced in 1850 by designer James Longacre, is one of the most iconic, easily recognizable images in numismatics. Due to the high value of U.S. $20 Gold coins, many were kept in limited circulation and stored away in vaults, making high-grade coins surprisingly attainable given their age. Due to their limited circulation use, the coins offered here will show the nearly full detail of this classic design.
